The Hermes Bolide 35 bag is truly synonymous with luxury travel. The perfect bag for everyday, work, or even carry on for a flight. The design is both practical and elegant. Made from robust Hermes clemence leather paired with Canvas, this bag is surprisingly light for its size. Originally designed with travel in mind, the Bolide features an interior pocket large enough to fit a passport. The detachable leather shoulder strap makes this style ideal for those who need a hands-free bag. Highly practical, with beautiful craftsmanship and attention to detail, this bag features contrast hand-stitched edging and shiny palladium hardware detailing.
Why we love the Bolide 35?
The Bolide bag was originally designed in the year 1923, and back then went by the name of "le sac pour l'auto". This bag was a revolutionary design for its time, and was the first ever handbag to feature a zipper. The first Bolide bag was designed by Emile-Maurice Hermes for his wife to include a secret interior pocket large enough for her Passport and jewellery when travelling overseas. We love this bag because of its elegant design and usability. It's the perfect size to fit a small laptop and everyday essentials. The top zipper closure also features a lock, so you can be sure your items are safe when travelling too.
