For Spring Summer 2011, Marc Jacobs and then-menswear studio director Paul Helbers invited Brooklyn tattoo artist Scott Campbell to collaborate on the collection. Campbell, known for his intricate black-and-grey tattoo work and his ongoing projects with Marc Jacobs, created original motifs that were laser-burned and embossed into leather jackets and accessories. He also marked the models themselves, with realistic temporary tattoos placed on throats, necks, arms and legs, incorporating stylised elements of the Louis Vuitton monogram into the designs.

This special edition stole is large and can be worn in many ways but most exceptional is the stylized monogram with stunning tattoo-inspired illustrations of dragons and flowers with lines and colors that flow and blend beautifully. This is truly a collectors piece for the LV connoisseur.
